    Deleting Items

Wouldn't it make sense to allow the person that submitted a waymark to delete it if it didn't pass submission from their My Page? Also, what about those categories that the Peer Review decided not to allow? If we could delete these, less space would be taken up and perhaps, just perhaps the site would run a bit more smoothly and faster. There is a lot of junk on everyones pages that is taking up valuable space and is a waste. Any thoughts on this?

I recycle everything, even my declined waymarks.  What I mean is that I get rid of the information that is not applicable and just start over then resubmit. I have done this with both categories (long ago) and waymarks.

Ditto.  I recycle everything.  No junk allowed.

    Re: Deleting Items

Please tell me is there a way to use a waymark for a different category without having to re-enter all the data  (coords, etc)?   Or are you just 'recycling' the verbage in the descriptions, cutting and pasting into a new waymark, and then deleting the old stuff?   Being able to replicate (with tweaks as needed) a waymark in a different category would be great, not just for two-fers but also in the instance that you submit a WM and its denied but would be more appropriate for another cat.

    Thanks,

It has been mentioned before that there would be a benefit to being able to clone a listing.  However, this would mean that the Waymarking Wizard would need a change.  Variables would have to be on a separate page.  Thus all static info would be on page 1, photos on page 2, variables on page 3 (or better yet used as a part of the Visit instead as hinted by OpinioNate a while ago), then lastly the page that we use to check that things look right.
