The only goals we have are to have fun and to get at least 1 post in each category.   We don't go out and waymark everything in sight - we try to leave waymarks in an area for others to waymark and enjoy.  The thing that sucks the fun out of it for us is to travel somewhere only to find that someone has waymarked the place out and left nothing for anyone else.  By all means, waymark all the McDonalds or the Starbucks in an area but if you have already posted some of the harder ones, leave some for others to find, enjoy, and post.  Just our opinion.

I have never gone to any area including my home area and not found something interesting to waymark.  Even St. Louis I think I could waymark most categories I could before (Great Buildings and Toynebee tiles being the exception... there were 2 great buildings and 4 tiles, I got two and left the other 2 for someone else).   I even know of a few more categories for the arch :-).  (Note if you want to waymark McDonalds and Starbucks in St Louis, go for it, I have only waymarked one each)  And as a few people know that have traveled to St. Louis and asked, I will even tell them ones available in certain categories that I know of.
