I searched the categories and didn't come up with any matches. True kite stores are much more then toy or hobby stores. True, you can buy kites in a toy or hobby shop, or your local 7-11 in the summer, but it's like buying a bicycle from Wal-mart. You get what you pay for.
True kite stores focus on all aspects of kiting; building materials including spars and light weight, high strength fabric, flying line, line winders, wind socks, single line kites, stunt kites, line climbers, kite building and history books, kite aerial photography, sponsors of kite festivals, etc.
I would have to come up with detailed differentiators to separate out the toy stores. On-line purchasing would not count. It will have to be a retail store. A place you can touch and see the colors. Multiple store locations of the same outlet would be separate waymarks. This is a world wide category.

So I give it another try. My first attempt was for the birds. Garmin_geek
