    Html link question

I just tried to insert a link into my text on a cannon that killed a man after the war. Ex: (The Col. Simeon Sammons monument is well worth checking out.) <= I attempted to add the link and titled it Col. Simeon Sammons. That way "Col. Simeon Sammons is highlighted in blue and you click his name for the link to more info on him. In this case its the waymark that I just did on him. However it came out like this:
    The
    Col. Simeon Sammons
monument is well worth checking out.
It created its own line breaks instead of being one simple flowing sentence. How do I change it? Swizzle

It may be beneficial for you to refer to some online resources for ways to augment/enhance your HTML tag knowledge.

HTML Tags/Codes/Web Page Design is a great place to start. Or simply go to Google.com and enter HTML help.

You might just have a minor typo in your code, but often that is all it takes to break the coding. Look for tags that were not closed properly, like missing " and > and /. I do that all the time.

    Re: Html link question

Sorry it took so long to replay. I've been trying to get this place winterized and I'm building a solar heater. It seems to be taking up more time that I thought it would. We came home last night to a different cat! Our cat got out and another cat got in. I still can't seem to find the hole that either of them used but I did notice that all of my insulation is hanging down a foot and I need to re-do the entire thing underneath. Looks like my waymarks are going to low down for a little bit until I get this all taken care of. I'll check out the link when I get more time. Thanx for the help. Swizzle
