ISS - Thu Oct 29 morning

Any early risers in western Indiana/Chicago, Kentucky, or SC/NC coast on Thursday? A note from another scouter prompted me to inquire for this category. Looks like the ISS will be in eastern TN at 06:57:51 at 73 deg elevation (-3.2 mag), thus would count. Weather appears to be clear that morning although another front coming in for the midwest.

I don't know if the ISS link is temporary, but here is the track log that I see calculated:

Anyone want to pick up this icon this week?

    I'd love to!

I'm in central NC.  I'm showing a max altitude of 78 deg at 06:58:35 on the 29th.  Are we far enough apart?  It's been a while since I looked at the category but I remember something about 1 minute of travel time, I think.

As a back-up, if the weather's clear, I'm showing it again on the 31st 06:09:41 at 79 deg altitude max.

Unfortunately, you are right ("Participants need to be at least one minute of ISS travel time (293 miles or 472 km) apart") and too close. Could you move over 100 or so miles? Needs to be someone on the NC/SC coast. Or hoping for someone to the west.

Calling out again - any morning people in the midwest USA?  Forecast here tonight is for a few passing clouds.    Louisville is mainly clear.   Chicago - a few clouds.

The ISS should be bright and high in the sky.

Else I'd like to take up yramc600 offer and beg forgiveness on being only 40 seconds apart.  I have been promoting this sighting around town, so would love to grab this category while a reasonable viewing time.
