Having spent some time trying to solve some downloading issues I have narrowed it down to our old friend "The Ampersand"

One category "A & W Restaurants" will not download .LOC files.  So when trying to download a page of 25 Waymarks that happens to include an A&W or even just an A&W on its own this is the result.

 

 

So I tried editing the title in my own Waymark (removing the '&') but got the same result.  All I can think of it that the Category name contains an "&" which is causing the .loc to choke.

After all was said and done, I was able to download all of my visits with the exception of any that were from the A &W Category.

Last time someone joked like this it put another forum user in a comma. This is not the place for this kind of humor....period.

Another category afflicted is "Television & Cable Broadcasting Stations "  I am going to Buffalo and area tomorrow.. and I am not going to be able to find 2 Waymarks by Rayman (wait.. maybe this is a boon).  I know I know... do it {shudder} manually

I'm having the same problems with ALL categories containing an Ampersand.

I tried to locate waymarks surrounding a zip-code and any that contained the beloved Amper gave me fits.

I've been going into the .loc file with a text editor and seeking out the Ampers....then deleting each by hand.  That seems to work...but not optimal solution.
