Can you put in a link? Or cut and Paste?

Why is there the name the cemetery part in the visiting reqs?

Link for category Woodsmen of the World

I think the cemetery name should be given by the submitter if known instead of the visitor. Only other thing I would change is the name of the category.  Probably would be better if it was "Woodmen of the World Gravestones"

Got a bunch of them in this neck of the Woods.
I even have an Original Certificate.
I will add it to my logs if this one gets going.

Looks pretty good. Found a tiny typo, an "s" that should be removed from, "Relief efforts by the Woodsmen were successful".

Good question. I have a WOW Hall near where I live. Would it fit?

Just a few grammatical things.

Remove "New Page 1" at the top of the detailed description.

Make the URL into a clickable link at the bottom of the detailed description.

Why do you require a closeup of the emblem? Will it not be visible from the main wider picture? Or are there similar other wood like grave markers that would not apply to this category?

I think it would be cool to include their buildings, too.  Especially if they are odd shaped!

There are other tree-like/stump-like markers. Tree stump markers were often used on the grave of a young adult, symbolizing a life cut short.

I would suggest that it be rephrased that the WOW emblem has to be clearly visible, whether in a photo of the entire tombstone or in a close-up of just the emblem.

I found about 15 different kinds on Memorial Day.

I even found a youth tree but the WOW logo is not visible anymore.
I know from the shape,structure and age it is but am going back to see the old records to make sure.

I have been looking for a specific one (S. Tollett) and thought they were all about the same but was well surprised to find so many different types in one place.
Just not that one.

There was a Woodmen Camp 125 in Pierce City though so it would probably be why.

I was given several other places to look by the caretaker who has been here almost all his life.
He also maintains several cemeteries in the area.

So I will be out there looking for more soon and still have a few to add.

I've been documenting and photographing cemeteries for about 10 years.  Sure which I had the coordinates for all the WOW graves I photographed over the years!  I'll have to keep this one in mind on my travels.
