    Geocache waypoints

Have any of you ever post a "Additional Waypoint" on your geocache page of a waymarking site to help get people into waymarking?

At the bottom of the Geocaching page is listed:

    Find...
...other caches hidden or found by this user
...nearby caches of this type, that I haven't found
...all nearby caches, that I haven't found
    ...all nearby waymarks on Waymarking.com
    ...all nearby benchmarks

I have mentioned at times in my Geocaches that the sites are also Waymarks.  They never have been logged.  Waymarks are not counted as Geocaches Found.

I am traveling to Washington D.C. on Friday for nine day visit (plus two days of travel).  I am planning to find the Virtuals that do count as Geocaches Found.

There is a thread here discussing leading a horse to water, but you can't make him drink unless it counts in the geocaching stats.Big Smile

Only one geocacher has found the cache since the "Murder and Mayhem" Geocache was approved which is very unusual with my historical geocaches.  Of course, the weather may have something to do with it.  Rain, rain and more rain...and occasional hail or snow.  I am a webfoot Oregonian and it is getting to me!

True... and the more people are forced to do something is usually inversely proportional to how much they enjoy it.  But I don't see anything wrong with making it more visible.
