Groundspeak Portal

Ok, I am the category manager for Mountain Bike Trailheads and would like to either get an icon crafted and assigned, or use one I cobbled together so it would have a default icon.

Note, not a default image, but like the fountains category has a little fountain icon when viewing the category, I'd like a little icon for the Mtn Bike Trailheads category.

I searched all kinds of things in the forums and came up empty.  That doens't mean the answer doesn't exist, just that I didn't find it.

Do I simply forward the image to OpinioNate or someone at Groundspeak Inc.?

The cute little icons are made by cute little Koko of Groundspeak, and as far as I know they are always hand-crafted of her own design.  By this point, no one ever wants to make recommendations to her because when she makes them, they are a personal extention of her craft and are viewed as a gift.  Getting the icon should be a surprise.

But if you still have a 'default' category image based on a major department... then sending Nate a note about still having that would be appropriate.

Well, I don't have any image that I can see.  Kind of bums me out.  This category was among the first created, so maybe if Koko views some of the images, she'll see what a trailhead symbol might look like.. a trailhead kiosk and a winding singletrack leaving and going off into the distance :)  I cobbled together a very poor representation to get the idea and would be sad to have it show up as my default icon, but it's better than having a "missing" icon ;)

I'll forward it to Nate in hopes he can get Koko to laugh at it and hopefully do justice to her vision of the same thing. :)

Mountain Bike Trailheads

Are you meaning the logo on your group page?

 If so that is added by you or those who can edit your category. You simply select the link beneath the box and add the JPG or gif that you want.
