How many UK Waymarkers out there?

Hi, as a couple of newbie Waymarkers (two posted, one visit) we were wondering just how many UK Waymarkers there are.

Also reading other posts it seems  some Waymarkers post a found on their own listing, is this the norm?

Looking forward to reading the replies.

    Al, & Ros.

Not from the UK but in answer to your other question,  some people do post visits to their own, and others do not.  Either is acceptable.

    Hello Al and Ros,

There are several of us Brits Waymarking, I started in November 2005, I think I was the only Uk waymarker at the time.  If you go to some of the UK categories such as UK trigs, Victorian Postboxes, Dartmoor Granite, English Heritage, National Trust. You will see the British Officers and in most cases the waymarks have been posted by the Brits.

Look forward to seeing some of your waymarks, if you are the only waymarker in your area you will have plenty to waymark!!
