Wow, this will be a major milestone.  Who else out there has made it into the millenium club? I suppose the next challenge will be at 10,000???

I don't remember when I crossed 1000, but I am up to around 1300 right now.

I just passed the 1000 mark a couple weeks or so ago. Actually it was a few days after Bruce made 5000. I was using my geocaching mentality too and had to waymark something extra special for the milestone.

I just turned the 1,000 mark last week. I've got a couple hundred on save for those rainy weekends that I can work on getting submitted, mostly NRHP's, churches and memorials. I had a couple of declined waymarks recently that kind of depressed me a little, but, that's the way it goes.

Congratulations to all of you.  I encourage you to page back through some of your waymarks and remember the steps along the way and fun you had with each one.

I put out a cache to mark my 1000th. I was thinking of putting another when I reached my 2000th but that gone now, I am on my way towards 2500 so maybe I will put a cache out for that "land mark".

Congratulations.  That's really something in your European locale with the prevalence of North American exclusive categories.  Maybe it's not as much of a handicap as I think?

Go for 1000 in a single category. That's a pretty limited club.  How many are there besides BruceS and myself?

I have 707 in the Texas Historical Markers category. I'll probably hit 1000 late this year or early next.
