A question: How many different shades are there and what is the waymarking range for each shade.

I think there are 5  at least from my map (there may be 6 as there might be one lighter than Washington as I have 4 waymarks there and might be something darker that I haven't seen yet but Missouri I have almost 2400 so I would doubt it). (could also be another color not showing between my darker two, my 2nd state I still have a little less than 500 so might be a shade there too)

There's also a lighter shade than what's on Bruce's map. On my map of visited sites, Washington state is barely shaded.

I just used that map to discover a couple of incorrectly coded waymarks I had visited (I've never waymarked in Georgia or Florida).  I wrote the waymark owners, and they corrected promptly.  :-)

I found one of my recent ones the same way... I knew I hadn't been in Georgia since I began waymarking and it was the lightest blue (now it is all white again)

How do one get a US map on the profiles? I have done som visit in New York, but I haven't got the map. I think its because I'm not from the states. But can I have it anyway? Due to my visits in New York?

If you're not registered in America you cant. But if you want to see it, go to a profile of an American, click on the US states tab, then type you name in the box and search. You'll see it
