    Just to say Hi'

Just to say Hi' as a couple of  "Newbies". We have been geocaching 10 months with 128 finds and 36 caches placed and get good vibes in both aspects.

During our caching we have come across many locations that deserve a visit but unable to place a cache so "Waymarking" seems the obvious route and we are sure the combination of the two should result in some interesting posts.

We've just had our first Waymark listing posted and revieved in 30 mins!!!, Thanks to the reviewer.

We look forward to reading other posts and learning more as we go.

    Ros & Alan.

Welcome.  Enjoy yourself.  You will find some similarities between geocaching and waymarking but many differences.   Find categories you are interested and show us your world.

(BTW I see there are 3 Great Buildings of the World in Sussex, I would love to see them submitted Big Smile )

Welcome. Eventually you'll learn the ropes. You'll learn how the groups are, what they expects etc..

Hi, all.  I’m new here and just thought I’d introduce myself.  I guess I have been “waymarking” my local environs without even knowing it for some time now, in that I sort of have a hobby to photograph those everday sights which I find interesting .  Until just recently though, I hadn’t been recording the GPS coordinates and sharing them on the internet.  I had no idea such an activity existed as a legitimate hobby and that so many others did similar things.  After finding this website, it looks like I have discovered a new use for my neglected GPS unit.

I guess for the forseeable future I’ll plan on helping to fill in some of the missing points of interest from my neck of the woods...

Welcome to Waymarking.  In your neck of the woods you will find many waymarks but there are many many more to be submitted.  ( I have a few in your county but not many)
