    Fraternal Organizations- gauging interest

    Hi

Looking at Moose lodges, Masonic, Elks and KofC,VFW etc..(sorry for ones I missed) Franternal organizations, as well as Fraternity/Sororoty houses, would a group of just "other" fraternal orginization meeting locations be of any intrest. Lions Clubs, Kiwians, Franernal Order of Police, Order of Eagle , etc.... lumped together in just one group. I know alot of them do not have their own buildings, they may use a community hall ,school gyms or some other place, but this would be to locate the ones that do have their own stand alone building, meeting places or  place of fellowship.

Just gauging interest, suggestions, comments, ideas.

    Thank you all very much

Since a sub-directory exists now for Meeting Houses, I say there's a green light for Waymarkers to continue with named categories.

Do not read anything into changes in the sub-directory structure as it being a green light.  The new sub-directory is in place because of the number categories of the type that exist already.

I think a general category is fine, especially for the lesser known and smaller organizations. My concern would be something like the Lions Club getting some waymarks in this category, and then they get their own category. I've seen how others solve that sort of problem for other categories, but what would you like to do for this category?

    Heh. Allow me to rephrase...

Since there is a new sub-directory for Meeting Houses, the concerns of categories of this type "cluttering up" the directory are gone and, therefore, there is "room" for more named directories.
