Hi,

I have only just discovered this fascinating website and I was interested in the waymarks that have been logged where I live.  I looked at one of the entries and a visitor has put incorrect information in the log.  The name of the house and other information is not right.

My question is this... do I just leave the info?  do I correct it in my own visit log?  or do I contact the member and let them know they may have confused this place with one across the road?

I would suggest contacting the listing owner directly and offering the updated info. But yes, definitely log visits too!

Yep, do both!

I've appreciated the times when someone has sent me additional or corrected information.  Sometimes it comes in a personal note, sometimes through a logged visit.  Either way it is good.  The advantage of putting in in a visit log is that it is there for other potential visitors to see, should they take the time to read log entries.
