    Irritating Date Issue

I have noticed that date fields requiring the entry in mm//dd/yyyy format don't accept it when you do enter it that way.

For instance, in the This Old Church category, I want to enter May 1, 1846 as the date the church was dedicated.

If I enter 05/01/1846 (mm/dd/yyyy), I get an error telling me the date is incorrectly formatted.

I have to go back and enter it as 5/1/1846 (m/d/yyyy). In the finished waymark, it shows up as 05/01/1846, which is what I tried to do in the first place, and which was rejected.

If I am told it has to be in mm/dd/yyyy format, shouldn't it accept it when I enter it that way?

We have now changed it to m/d/yyyy and should work as intended now.

Certainly can't complain about response time.
