Attempting to post a waymark in the Weird Story Locations category, I have repeatedly incurred some sort of error. Page invites me to describe what I was doing.

I go to a different category, create a new waymark with entirely fictional information, and it processes properly.

I come back to Weird Story Locations and get the same result as before.

Thoughts?

You might try this.  Fill in Weird Story location waymark with fictitious information.  Then edit it filling in only a couple pieces of correct information and save.  Keep doing this until  you add something that causes the error.  This will help identify what is causing the error.

I have just run a test on the category and I as able to enter and save a test waymark and then went back in and edited it.  I did not get the error screen.

It certainly doesn't like me.

I tried just random characters in fields, got the error.

I tried blank fields, and it got as far as telling me I had to agree to T&C, but once I did that, I got the error again.

As far as I can tell, that error box pops up at random times - anything from posting a picture to accepting a warmark in review.

A few times I've had it pop up repeatedly when trying to submit a waymark.  I don't know if there is some value that is in the incorrect format, an invalid date for instance, or what.  You might just look in your unfinished waymarks - it might actually be there and you can edit and finish it off.

That error page is the Groundspeak replacement for "404" but I'm not sure if what you enter does actually go somewhere. I'm not saying that it doesn't, I'm just saying that the times I have filled out the form have not generated a response from a Lackey.

I am also unable to recreate your error in the Weird Story Locations category. Are you able to take a definitive set of steps that makes this error happen? It would be helpful if you posted the details of what you were trying to post, so I can track down the error.

I guess we'll never know.

I just went back and entered everything one by one, updating with each item.

All was accepted, the waymark is posted.
