How do I search for waymarks by the code number. I tried to put the number (WM7AK0) in the search box for waymarks on the front page but I get nothing. Help?

Here is what I suspect is happening.

The default search on the home page is for categories and will not return waymarks. There are three tabs above the search box. The first one is for the waymark search. Select this tab then search for the waymark either by code or keyword and it should show up.

The other advice is good. Excellent even.

If you know the code, though, for a waymark or a geocache, you can just put it into http://coord.info/wmorgccode and that will get you there.

And don't worry, the coord.info domain belongs to Groundspeak too.

As an alternative, a simple search in Google or Yahoo - or whatever your favorite search engine is - usually finds the right waymark with just the code.

If there happens to be a product code with the same number, then you can add site:waymarking.com in the search box to narrow the field down.
