We appreciate all the positve feedback from the more experienced waymarkers here. Our desire to gauge the flow of the springs is not a science but a calculation so we can gauge the size and flow of the spring. In a non scinetific manner the flow of the spring is also generally determined by the size of the spring a very large spring would be a higher magnitude spring while a smaller magintude spring would be generally reflected by less surface area of the spring. I beleive the variable is set up as an option not as a mandatory reuirement. Although many of the larger spring"s flow can be found by internet searches it will not be a requirment that will limit indiuction to the category. If it is not set up as a variable we will adress that after the voting period expires.
As far as the inclusion of the Waymarker with the GPS we based that off of many similiar requirements in different catergories for proof of listing. We felt that it was a nice touch to be able to put faces with names of the people who discover these Natural Springs as well as a positive way to put put a waymarker at the discovery and not just post copyrighted photos ect..
We belkeive this will be a nice addition that many around the world can and will enjoy and we appreciate your support for this category.
