I would argue against the category based on they are too prevalent (one marker every two miles) and the danger factor of roadside waymarking (which never a good idea in my book).

You know... all of you are right.

--  Who wants to read and post another  sign anyway,  like those other plaques along a road or in a park or wherever, that nobody reads anyway or cares about except to post another Waymark. 
Elevation, blue plaques, yellow directional and name signs as well as    all those other 50 Categories .... Why would I even think you might allow another sign as a Waymark Category.
