I visit and post. I try to be careful to satisfy the visit requirements for whatever category I'm posting. (It's annoying when the category requires a separate visit.) As said above, visiting calls for a different set of information than posting in most cases. Since I actually have to visit the waymarks in order to post them, why shouldn't I post a visit log as well? Typically, this means that the posted waymark doesn't contain pictures of me, but the visit log does.
