dopeyduck:Bummer, Well I can't meet all 3 of the requirements for Festivals (I've already had one WM denied due to lack of photos so I wont even bother trying again), and its not a permanent fixture so it wont work under Local Tourist Attraction.
I may contact the Holiday Display group leader to see how strict they are for lit houses. It just seems like that's the most logical category. Otherwise I'll just put it on the back burner and mark it as a find instead of creating something. :-)
1) From what I can tell, the local tourism attraction category doesn't require it to be permanent. As I understand it, the ball dropping in Times Square should qualify. So long as a local/state agency of some sort wrote something about it on their website, you should be good.
2) Consider creating a category. I think "Worldwide New Year's Celebrations" would be a neat category.
