I experienced a similar situation a couple of weeks ago. A waymarker contacted me in regards to a waymark that they had submitted, wondering why it hadn't been approved or declined for a couple of weeks. They included a link to the waymark in their email and as soon as I looked at the waymark, then closed out of it, I received an email stating group vote had completed and the waymark had been approved. I sent a short email to all officers involved, just to let them know what had occurred. I have not experienced that scenario again since then though.
