My musician side has came to life again, and was wondering if there would be any intrest in a group to manage a Recording studios category.
They would have to be clearly marked, permanent (not mobile) and dedicated studios. Not like a stadium or place where concerts are or were recorded. Nor where remote live broadcasts are originated from.
Mainly a studio, where for a fee, anyone can go in with a band or instrument(s) and "cut a record". It would also include private recording studios where contracted musicians create recordings. Also maybe historic studio locations (eg, Sun Records building in Memphis) where recordings were once made, but the building is now used for something else? (Although Sun is still a working studio, it is also a museum and tourist attraction)
I know there are alot of small "country" studios around the world.
Or would this be too boring.
I searched for similar groups and did not find anything.
