I just did a search from the Antietam Cemetery and it appeared that it was working for me. Once you locate one just do a nearest waymark search. If they don't show then check your ignored category list to make sure you have one accidentally marked history and culture or memorials on your ignore list as that is where most of these waymarks are listed.
