HOMESTEADS
I have always been intrigued by Old Homesteads and the Old Timers.
I have done thousands of hours of research on Homestead Pantents.
It is a rather deep subject to go into detail about but I hope the group helps to teach a little something about things that have an effect on our every day life if you happen to be from one of these states and own lands within it.
I Own 2 Patented Homesteads one of the Patents signed by President Roosevelt and the other by President Taft.
Back on topic.
The group is for logging Old Homesteads these can be from any state or Country that has such Laws.
Some Homesteads in the 13 Original Colonies will be reviewed on a 1 by 1 basis.
If they have a web site they will also be accepted.(example on the page).
Some of them are more extravagant than others.
Old Log Cabins and Homestead sites will be accepted if you can provide the Land Patent details and name of Owner.
