Bring Recycling They also have a staffed location at the dumps transfer station that diverts recyclables from the waste stream. Looking forward to waymarking it.
This is more like what I had in mind, domestic waste being diverted from landfill. Over on this side of the herring pond, the original recyclers are scrap merchants (junk yards), taking domestic items that have value. car batteres, cars, stainless steel from washing machines.
Hikenutty's idea sounds like reclamation and salvage, a new category?
