I anticipated that some views of a city might be from the air. I thought of hot air balloon rides or perhaps a helicopter tour. I did not consider some taking a picture from a commercial airplane flying overhead. If the airport isn't too far from the city, you can always get a good view during takeoff or landing. Because, it is so easy to get a view of the city from a commercial flight, I have turned down a recent submission.
I am looking for some input from the community as to whether the Cityscape requirements should be changed to clarify that pictures from commercial airplanes are not allowed. Should all aerial view (such as balloons or helicopters) also be bannned? If we banned these should views from boats be banned? What are your thoughts?
