    Site not allowing a waymark to be edited

    I placed a waymark in the History Museum category and didn't put all of the latitude in correctly when I submitted it.  It was denied and when I tried to correct the mistake the site would post a message that the coordinates were invalid and reset the coordinates to the original flawed ones.  I figured that I'd just create another waymark and get it right this time.  The site wouldn't allow the waymark and again switched them to the incorrect coordinates of the first waymark that I had submitted.  I'm wondering if the problem is that the incorrect coordinates put the waymark in a different state than I had chosen.  But if that was the case why would it have let me submit the first time.  The correct latitude was N41 66.035  The incorrect one that I first submitted was N41 00.000

    This is the webpage for the waymark - "Mark Twain House - Hartford, Connecticut" in the History Museum category:

    http://www.waymarking.com/wm/details.aspx?f=1&guid=e329d573-845a-4560-85bd-85877ab3a411

    The error message that I got the second time I tried to place the waymark was:

    <!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->
    <configuration>
    <system.web>
    <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
    </configuration>
    I'd really like to place this waymark as it's a very cool museum. Anyone have any ideas? I placed a waymark for the same place in the US Register of Historic Places category and it worked fine.

    Was just looking at your link above and found the below logging instructions still posted as a requirement for a "Waymark"
     Had wanted to submit a "Waymark" months ago but didn't like the GPS or personal photo part.
    I see the approval "Officers" haven't adhered to their own rules as some have "Waymarks" with neither requirements. WHY? Huh?

    I recently posted some waymarks with the wrong state, and changed at least one after it was approved, maybe a couple others before they were approved.  But I'm not sure if that has anything to do with this.  You changed the coords, I changed the state.

    N41 66.035 is also not a valid latitude.

    It is valid in systems which tolerate very large values of 59.

    That's the cool thing, you can change things later.  I realized after a while that a waymark that I had placed was supposed to be in Seattle, but for a few weeks it actually sat in California.  I had changed a number when I submitted it and the owner didn't notice, nor did I.  That's embarrassing.  But I finally caught it and changed it.  I was glad that I could!
