Proceeding after a failed officer vote on a category
What happens if an officer vote on a new category fails. Can the category owner edit the category and make necessary corrections and then resubmit or do that have to create the category all over again (like after a failed peer review)?

When a category fails in officer vote you can make the changes needed and then call for another officers vote, you do not need to start over.

I would also send out an email to the officers reminding them about the vote.
