Creating a waymark in multiple categories

Many waymarks logically belong to multiple categories.  One I often run into is coffee shops & wifi.  I often create two waymarks, but I'd really like to just clone one into the other and then add the additional information the other category requires.

Is there any way of doing this?

Not an easy way. The way you are doing it is the only way.

There has been requests that the idea of "cloning" a waymark for another category would be a good feature. So far it has not been implemented.

Heck, I'd be happy just to clone pictures as variables change between categories.  At least if I didn't have to keep reuploading the same pictures, my waymarking life would be easier.

I was thinking that it would be nice if there a way for a whole category to only allow links to another category, that have the second category as a variable.

For example, the category in review was classic cafe's. It would seem like all classic cafe's would be independant diners (maybe not but as an example). So, the independant diners would have a variable, is this a classic cafe? Then if you clicked into the classic cafes category, you would only get a list of independant diners with the classic cafe button checked, but there would be no need to upload additional information.

It seems like it would work really well with Churches. There could be one category for all churches. A pull down for denominiation. a radio button for over 100 years or medieval. Then there would still be a medieval catagory, but it would only show things that had been posted in the churches category with the medieval radio button checked.

It seems like it would save a lot of bandwidth, and work.
