    "The Centennials" group created

    Hi

    I created group "The Centennials".

     Here is mission statement

"Our group will be to photograph and Waymark markers, plaques or anything permanent that honored any centennial celebration. Celebrations could be any prefixed Centennial  (Bi, Tri, Sesqui, etc.) from worldwide to village, any official celebration."

Enrollment is opened, and ANY help or ideas will be appreciated!

    Thanks!

    Two things:
    1. In 1986, to celebrate the Sesquicentennial of Texas Independence, the Historical Commission placed a LOT (I don't know exactly how many) of historical markers that mention the Sequicentennial at the bottom next to the date (the markers aren't ABOUT the Sesquicentennial or about Independence, they just MENTION it.   You're going to want to specify whether that type of thing is allowed or not.  WM4EZQ is a good example of this.

    2. You'll want to specify if Millenial (10 centennials) celebrations are included or not as well.
