    Camera with GPS capability?

It is about time I get a new camera. Which makes me wondering: Does anybody know if there is  a good camera (in the $300-$500 range) with GPS capability? I don't mean a cell phone with camera and GPS, I mean a 10 MP camera that puts a GPS stamp on a picture - in addition to the date stamp or instead of the date stamp? It would make waymarking a lot easier.

And if there isn't one yet, we should get together and get a patent for one Smile

Well it is a phone but also a 10 megapixel camera with GPS capabilities. Sharp 933SH

Garmin's Oregon 550t has a camera but only 3 MP.

This one might meet your needs with its new integrated GPS. 13.5 MP. Nikon Coolpix P6000

I absolutely LOVE that camera! Thank you! A little bit more expensive than planned but it will be worth saving for :-)

Thank you for a great recommendation!

    You are welcome.

I don't know if I recommend it or not. The battery life looks pretty marginal. 260 shots per charge.

I had a Nikon Coolpix model (a smaller one) that I couldn't stand. If this one does what it says and does it quickly enough then it should work just fine.
