logged a mark this morning. i sent a note about pic requirements. they had 3 total.
just got another log, no pic, sent pic requirements and mentioned failure to follow rules can mean log deletion. now total is 9.

anyone else had this experience with them?

No.  However recently I had another Armchair Waymarker.  I just figured that he or she wanted attention so I just deleted the log without posting anything on the Forum.  I do not see the point.  It is not like they get credit for Geocaching Finds.

Some waymarkers complain about the photo requirement but it does keep down the number of Armchair Waymarkers.  If you can afford a GPS then you can certainly afford an inexpensive digital camera!

i just got my 3rd visit out of a total of 14. any more and i am deleting them. they seem to be too random anyway.

It looks like rvsguitar is listing visits if he has been there at anytime in his life and is just reminiscing.

So, yes he is posting armchair waymark visits.

Ah!!  A little research shows he created this account for waymarking.  He uses rvsguitar1 for his geocaching account.  He is a newbie (since April 2009) and also benchmarks (which probably brought him to waymarking.

If we guide him to the proper protocol of posting photos with his visits (and hopefully showing him where the CapsLock button is), he will become a valued waymarker.

i have sent 4 notes and deleted his logs. he has not logged any more of mine--his total was 11 when i left him....
