    Logging Visits

Hi, a newbie here. After doing a search for WMs to visit, I have found a few that I have already visited and some were before the time of the listing being posted.

I travel all around the Treasure Coast looking for photo ops and have found some I have already visited and some that I can set up as a WM for myself that aren't already listed. Now, I have many new places to visit that I didn't know existed and will offer great photographic opportunities.

My question is...can I still log my visit if I was there before it was listed? I have photos without myself or GPSr.

    Thanks :)

I hope that you found that the answer was "Yes, absolutely!"

Yes. I didn't think it would be an issue, but wanted to verify. Thank you

I hope that you picked up that logging visits from previous visits is OK, but posting new waymarks from previous visits is frowned upon (at least by some waymarkers).  I'm sure that QB was just talking about the visits and not the posts.  (He will correct me if I am wrong.)

If you have GPS acquired coordinates and all of the needed info including photos, I would have no issue with people creating new listings with data recorded in the past.

    Cool BQ

Thanks for clearing that up. I wonder who the QB was in my last message? Embarrassed

No, I won't post w/o proper coordinates. I thought of trying with Google Earth, but that's not that accurate!! I'll have to get the cords when I get my GPSr back....soon I hope!!

By the time you get around to posting a waymark, it is a long ways in the past!  (Me, too!)
