Any guesses as to when the "1" will turn into a "2"?

looks like several hundred marks a day is the average rate....though ive slowed down the past few days....i got a new harddrive (yea?!)......
been watching the number climb...

Is there any way to tell who posts the 200,000th waymark?

It is hard to really tell who posts the 200,000th waymark as it really just depends on when each one is approved.

well, TPTB posted a message (one of the few) about the 100,000th

I'm thinking of submitting all of my waymarks the day it turns to 199,000 just to get a shot at getting the 200,000th.  Oops, if everybody else does that, then it will never get to 199,000.

It was Brentorboxer that hit the 100,000 waymark posted and approved.  Although the system showed at one point that I had the 100,000th waymark she had a waymark or several in the queue that were not approved once approved the "100,000th Approved Waymark" kept changing until she was recognized as hitting the milestone.

The last time I ran my stats page the target date was Sept 5th.

The 500,000th waymark should be about October 28, 2013.  :)

so then is that jamba juice the 200,000th, or are the others in the que going to puch that back? if noone joins the converted fountains, gets promoted and approved my mark itll be 1 off....but i think the 'new system' goes by approval date over posting date.....

dont you #s guys know what the code ws supposed to be, but then factor in few denials....

I am pretty sure I approved number 200,000 last night on my balcony before going to bed. I believe it was Brentorboxer's red telephone booth, WM74PR

well, i was on the home page at like 10:30ish and it said 200,000 exactly. i clicked over and the 3 JJs were at the top--though this only displayed the last month of marks.....

well, i still have a few in ques that predate that Red Box. so then, shouldnt that get bumped up a few notches?

as said before, the 100,000th mark moved around a little till all those marks posted during that time span were approved/denied/archived. what about people like me who sit on denials for long periods of time before resubmitting? wont that affect the #s too [i think i have about 25 like that in my list, though some are reminders to post elsewhere]

so then, shouldnt the officers have a clear out the que day? i know id like to get those artificial caves approved (and the icon), and thats 3 more notches for the # to move.....

but this brings me back to the previous paragraph: at the 100,000 mark the # was related to the order that the marks were posted (the correct way IMHO), whereas now at 200,000 it is based on approval date? well, that screws the reliability of your stats right there. something about beyond a reasonable doubt.....

anyway, yesterday in looking at things (GOOD, QUALITY WAYMARKS) to post during the 'magic time' i noticed i can sort my marks by submition date AND approval date. cant you do this wil all waymarks too?

and what are the odds it would be the same person at both thresholds?

ok, home page reads 200,079

i click on recent waymarks, it brings up the past month.

change the filter to all waymarks, the total is 200,005. Sort by date created,This makes WM75B9 the #. but will change as other ques get approved.

whats the difference? are 74 not approved--i find this hard to believe.

I believe the difference are waymarks not visible.
