yes, thats exactly what i was talking about.....

now, dont all the #s auto update (i added 20+ today)......makes that step easier.....

now to change the rankings you can just cut/paste into the correct order.....


add: how about having different sets....say top 5/10. then those in the 2000-2500, 1500-2000, 1000-1500, 500-1000 ranges....as displayed its a little busy and hard to follow.....

Yes...yes...that's what it's all about.

 

After about an hour of cut and pasting I decided that at the very least I needed a couple of <br> in the script.

I have created it in a word file, but discovered on the cut and past that it brought in the word formats.  Had to copy the text, dump it into note pad, re-copy it then I could past it in and turn on the html.

yes, if not for beta waymarking i would know nothing about HTML.....

do you have publisher (or some other web development program)? if you were to make it there i bet you would be even more thrilled about what you could do with it....

Publisher? web development? if I hadn't suggested above how I did it I would suggest now that I'm hoping that I don't drop all of these cards that I have to feed into the card reader.

If we can get waywardwaymarking (or a reasonable facsimile) back up maybe then I'll pick up a bit of software, until then I have to grunt through it - but it's not too bad.  This round is not much different than my methods of old.

cards? thats still a little before my time, but i know of these things you speak....

i would thing WW might already 'have' a program.....maybe some other markers for other reasons (lat34 and his own website).....

another i thought i had while going to sleep last night was that now you will lose the historical aspect of the lists.....
the numbers change themselves, so you will have to find a way to 'save' the standings every so often (screen shot?, i still dont get that one).
