To-night while perusing different Facebook options and adding a couple names known to us 'Early Birds' this link came up. about waymarking from October 2006

ive been thinking about the facebook ap to display your WM stat bar. the GC app works fine.

i think the key issue is that you must be logged into WM to see someones profile--so 'facebook' can no longer access the info, while gc profiles are still public.....

I notice that Waymarking has a facebook group, but no facebook fan page.  The fan pages are actually what are useful on facebook.  Groups are great for reunions, but they get lost in the shuffle for businesses and organizations, because people have to physically go back to them to see if anything has been posted.  fb fan pages show up in our news feeds, and are a constant reminder to us.
