The part of the Instructions for Posting that concerns the marker text has changed.
It now says,
"- The text on the marker. Be sure that the text you put here matches the picture you submit. Do not put text in all capital letters. Include the date and any lines like "Recorded Texas Historic Landmark". Be careful if you paste text directly from the state database - it may not match the marker!"
The part that's bold is new (it's not bold in the cat description).
Any existing waymarks do NOT need to be changed unless they're being edited anyway.
Waymarks still in the approval queue also do not need to be changed (though the approver might make the change for the poster)--this takes effect January 23, 2010.
