Sad [:(] Post or "Mail" ?

This morning I sent off an e-mail which was 'kind' of personal and definately not to be posted.
On the bottom of the page is a box with  "POST" - which I clicked and made me wonder if  I  had made a mistake and now the message was "POSTED"   Embarrassed                 To stop the confusion as far as mail goes, should this not read "Mail" (ed)  instead of  "Post" ?????
The 2 pages look so much alike it can be confusing especially if you have more than 1 page on your screen.
BTW. I am still afraid to "Preview" this message and then "Post" as I don't want to start all over again like I had to yesterday a number of times.

I know what you mean.  Pm's are just like threads in the forum, which I love for a lot of reasons.  But it sure can make you nervous sometimes.  Embarrassed

I try to not send anything via the Forums that I wouldn't want the whole world to read.  I've been burned that way too many time.  Even in Email, I often edit my thoughts because you never know when a quick harsh word can come back and bite you on the @$$.

However, since Ambrosia has tipped her hand.... where's my PM??  Everyone else is getting Amby-valentines...  Hmmm... guess she doesn't love me enough Sad

I'm kidding.  And no, I don't want some mushy letter from Silverquill to make up for it Stick out tongue

    Cool BQ

Oh, great.  Now I hafta send a sweet pm to BQ to make him feel better.  Hmm  <sigh>  Work, work work.

Sure, I understand about that.  I know that anything that I write to anybody could be used in a bad way.  Once it's in print and gone, it's fair game.  I always try and make sure that anything I write I would be fine to have anyone read.  But I have always lived my life like that, in anything I do.  Of course, there are still times that you could be writing something personal to someone that you trust, that would be not something you want posted in the forums.  Zip it!

Boy, I'm just having a tough time getting used to these new emoticons.  I miss the rolling eyes one, and the wub one.

what happened to signal? he is sitting on the globe at the top of the page, he has his image on 'official' errors (indy style), has has his own banner....he, i thought, was the groundspeak mascot, not the caching mascot. why not have a special signal for each category?
