Transformation of waymark to other place

It is not real replay, only not found the click for new post Sad

I am beginner in waymarking, and soon found problem: I planned the waymark on the map, but in the real site the terrain not useable, the part of figure is on a seriously guarded place. I want to move the figure with resize and rotate.to other free place. But the track is long, if I not want to draw all points on the new place, must be recalculate coordinates. For this purpose I made two Excel table, both contains recently the Gobe glider aircaft. If soebody writes to the headlines conversion data,(new coordinate, horizontal mirror flag, rotation angle, resize), the result is the converted coordinate series for desired place.

First table contains silhuette  in track format (coordinate series), downloadable:

    www.compumap.hu/track offset_rotate_mirror_resize_gpx.xls

Other in waypoint form, contains coordinates of important point of silhouette

    www.compumap.hu/wpt offset_rotate_mirror_resize_gpx.xls

The result in both coordinate series and GPX files.

The tables are containing my plan to draw a waymark of the Rubik's Gobe glider airplane. But naturally it is replaceable with other figure.

Split this tread from earlier unrelated thread.

Re: Transformation of waymark to other place

The GPS art information found from clicking through the waymark http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WMDE2K_Rubiks_Gobe , then the link http://gpsgames.hu/jatek/3261/ was very interesting.

Basically they gave a way to calculate the coordinates to walk and create the picture. I've shied away from this category because I am completely uncoordinated and can't walk a straight line, BUT maybe I will try this!
