cache_test_dummies:I don't really have a horse in this race, but I still haven't seen any good reason for not allowing it. Nothing that I thought was a good reason, anyway.I assume you aren't looking for an actual number. If so, why don't we ask the same question for every category? silverquill:It is fine to have the attitude, ''Not my cup of ...

ambrosia:We had a short discussion a long time ago in the geocaching forums about this. I know it seems mundane, but boy, it could be very helpful while traveling.
LinkyLooks like the original photo on that Forum discussion was deleted or the link is lost. Here it is again.

To-night while perusing different Facebook options and adding a couple names known to us 'Early Birds' this link came up. about waymarking from October 2006 - It shows that we had problems, initially, convincing Waymarkers to submit photos and not just words...

the blue quasar: .............
IMHO, every Waymark should have a default image (except 'Best Kept Secrets') even if they are redundant. We know what a McDonald's looks like right? Still, consistency and an image improves any listing.
Submitting and then accepting your own Waymark listings is viewed by many as inappropriate. ...

See new logging requirements before submitting another hundred ''crooked'' badly constructed or deteriorating walls that can be found all over the world.... and no sinking street manhole covers due to a shrinking ground base.

The banks I admired lately were the ones that at first glance looked like ''Carnegie Libraries'' as they had interesting architecture, columns, facades, scrolls and some with gargoyles, you know, the ones that still had class...- If you are even thinking of setting up this Category consider ''old fashioned banks'' no glass cages ...

Tsk, tsk boys (&girls) someone stepping on your Category toes? - When I last checked I had a couple Categories where someone had created a similar one with Waymarks in both.

''--- there were 5 denies and 5 abstained votes. I'd say this was pretty good result and I'm very satisfied. ''
I agree . . . . . The best returns of any Category I have submitted or been an Officer in. Was actually surprised there weren't more 'No' votes as it is similar to ...

Quote from Peer Review:Instructions for placing waymarks into this category:

create a Waymark in this category: visit the site, and take a photo of
the word(s), or the structure if the words are not visible from ground
level. Obtain GPSr coordinates at the location. Submit your photos

In response to the original post by ''

FiVermont: I agree 100%. A single ''Send Message'' button that contacts all officers instead of writing to one at a time.- Is this the button you are looking for ??? You can send messages to all Officers if you have permission from the Leader. (If not tell them to give you permission)

Would someone explain to me how ''Friends'' show up on my Facebook?. - Signed up a little while ago after being asked by one friend and am now asked to invite a number of people to my page. To-day I received an e-mail that ''5 friends are awaiting your response'', but after opening the page it showed 140 to be ...

I don't see that there would be too much of a problem. No ordinary posts like cedar/wooden posts, pipe posts or t-bar/fence posts. - Homemade, unusual would fit the description if it was specially designed to show off someones artistic abilities, or maybe inabilities. - They can be stone, brick welded chain or implements or as ...

b.b.wolf:There is already a waymarking group called ''Themed Homemade Mailboxes''. Most of the mailboxes you mention will already fall into this category. This Category would be sans the mailboxes or only as an extra or afterthought. - Yes, this subject was brought up a number of times as some tried to submit them under the previously named ...

Received an e-mail to-day about starting an 'Animal Shelter Category'. I am not interested in two of them so if anyone wants to look into that one -- feel free to pursue it.(PS- I will look into setting up a 'Pet Boarding' category tho)

silverquill:There's not a category for Pet Groomers, either, though one for Pet Stores. None for Dog Breeders. The problem is that there is a huge amount of overlap. A lot of animal hospitals also have boarding kennels, which is what I think you are looking at. Some places, kennel services are offered by pet stores, and breeders ...

Was looking for the Category for 'Dog Kennels' or pet sitters and found none -- only 'Dog Statues ' Dog Friendly Hotels , Dog-Friendly Restaurants , Animal Hospitals and Off-Leash Dog Areas sites.- As more than a few of you own pets, especially dogs, I am surprised that this Category hadn't been proposed yet.
