Forward waymark to Groundspeak (Nate) and they will ban account.

No they are not rare.  They are quite common.  Only reason people might think they are rare is that they are often areas you would want to avoid anyway.  I can think of a couple that are interesting but most are not.

chapterhouseinc:i have seen Apple machines...do those count? maybe a Sony one too....No. They are not the same thing.  Currently there are only 3 located in the US (unless Kogers has deployed another one but have not heard they have) and they have all been waymarked.  Most are located in Belgium and France.

I have seen the Best By Machines and they are different than the Shop-24 machine I have seen.  Edit to add:I have checked the Shop 24 website and they have NOT added Best Buy as a partner.

scrambler390:Would a category based on Pope or Papal locations or items be a viable category. We have one for Shakespere,  Abraham Lincoln , J.F.Kennedy ,President Birthplaces, and other notables. I have not seen one for Pope's. Places would be same as for other important historical figures, Plaques, markers, Statues, ...
