What I don't get if the limit of roads with two lanes. I think it would be better if it was limited by the length of the tunnel.

Since you are in California have you thought of changing the one you started to cover just the California Historical Sites like other states have with their markers? The California ...

The only thing that this category has with the peeing in the woods one was bodily function. To compare the two is like comparing payphones to a category of ''where I use my cell phone.'' Both involve phones, though one is too subjective. The peeing in the woods one was a sarcastic joke, this one isn't.

I would like a color scheme with bolder colors. Sometimes those light blue hues are hard to see.

team farkle 7:Got my first notice of an edit review. Clicked on the link and got a blank page.
http://www.waymarking.com/cat/waymark_edit_review.aspx?f=1.Was it a Zippy one? If so, it was a change to the correct state. I approved it. I does bring up some good points. Why can't other group officer reapprove it? Why do only the editors get a

I think there are two types of special groups. One is the small niche group. The other is the subset group. Months ago there was a Lego Store group up for review. There's less than 50 worldwide, and it failed. I think that's a different case than a California McDonalds category. Maybe for the latter, some sort of bookmarking is needed.

haggaeus:Just a friendly rant at our neighbors: when entering a new WM, why there is Germany at the top of the country list and Czech Republic is not? There are 1844 Czech waymarks and just 1643 German ones. Not to mention Brazil (3778) and Netherlands (3655). Maybe it's by the number of waymarkers. I know that for Brazil, there must be only 10 ...

I think at least it should be limited to public stand alone toilets. That way you wouldn't get every McDonalds or library bathroom.

I wrote Google two emails about a week ago listing all the photos. I haven't heard back yet.

ambrosia:I personally don't think that we should dictate what a person puts in their visit logs. Why should it matter to us? I don't own the thing that is being waymarked. I put it on a listing service and people can visit it. If they want to talk about their experience and post a picture, that's fine, but if they don't, why should I care? ...

However I still haven't received my approval notices from when you approved my slew of NPS Passport Cancellations. No big deal really, just thought I'd point it out.I got my emails, but they stopped ...

chapterhouseinc:clarification:
i did not think this would be a harmful edit. and i DO NOT want to set precidence about editing names because you do not like it.
naming conventions is a reason i do not post to some categories (the officers would change it behind your back)--what difference if 'Wendy's' is the first word in the waymark name?

chapterhouseinc:re: editing waymarks
-i picked a waymark at random (WM7B14).
the name slelled out California--the one below it was just 'CA'. i filled out the box and the next screen says
''You have successfully sent a request to the Candy Stores category managers to edit the Sweet Factory- Fashion Valley Mall- San Diego, CA ...

A glitch: I'm getting a runtime error when I click the Log It button. From the list of waymarks. Also I'm not getting any email for visits or approvals.

I was looking at the edits of other people's waymarks. Where is the boxes to explain your editing? Do you use the private box? How does the officers know who's waymarking it, and is a reason required?

0ccam:From all this discussion, I'm just eager to see what the new version will look like and how it will work. I'm confident that no information will be lost--the person that submitted the waymark is stored, the people that edit will be stored, etc--so if something needs to change (back?) then the info is available.I do tend to think of waymark ...

Did others email Google with the photo IDs and Waymarks pages? I emailed them, then I had to email again because I found more. I haven't heard back yet.
