The cost of living is even higher here, so please remit $10.27 per GPS use. Thank you.

Yeah it did fail in peer review, but not by much. Over half voted yeah. Shame there were a lot of abstained. Just goes to show Waymarking is still mostly us Americans with out potty issues. Now if only the nay-sayers were as vocal with all the franchises... Those categories are what keeps the cachers from crossing over to the darkside (we have ...

norstar:I went to find the Art-O-Mat at OOP!! in Providence, RI, because it was on the way. Lo-and-Behold! I find it! I get my item, I take pictures and talk with the sales person there.I go back home to log it in. First, I am having trouble with filling in the fields, since the art-o-mat web site doesn't have the details when ...

TheBeanTeam:The ferry doors I tried to submit weren't acceptable.
That's because Brian Ferry sang with Roxy Music, not The Doors. If he had you might have had a shot...

I'd also like to add that the perception would most likely be a U.S. thing. Other countires aren't quite as hung up as we are when it comes to taking a squat.

It would be a great feature if you could click on a state and it shows your waymarks for that state. Also, if there's ever plans for a world map, if it worked the same way. Not a biggie, but still it would be a nice feature, I think.

Many a time we've pulled into a McD's, walked in, Harvey Jr. & I use the can (curse the weak Irish bladder) and left without a purchase. We can usually find a john at many such places. Mom & Pop establishments generally won't turn away a small child, although we've had it happen. So if I can find a McD's on a kml file or whatever, great! ...

pseudoprime:I have a saved search near my house. I am modifying it to search state-by-state for waymarks. I turned up two waymarks listed as being in Alabama (hint: I do not live within 100 miles of Alabama). I also discovered the Washington Monument listed as being in Virginia. I am then submitting corrections.

Is this waymarked somewhere? It's not mine, I just saw it on twitter.
I figured one of you guys would know where it is

I don't believe it has been waymarked yet. It is in North Hollywood at Vineland and Burbank Boulevard. it would be a great addition to the Artistic Neon ...

Personally, I have no problem with ''special interest'' categories. I just don't think that they need to be separate. As far as the grid goes, could it not be set up so that they form a second grid?

Hey Bapman!Yeah, it's a little hairy at first, but I think most folks tend to concentrate on their favorite categories, so they just go straight to them. Once you're more familiar with the layout, it's a lot easier. The uploading of photos however can be troublesome. It says you can upload up to 4 megs, but anything around 2 tends to take too long ...

Yup, it sucks, but whatcha gonna do? I too had one at the Michigan border with Canada that was archived. My theory at the time is there are two bridges crossing over, one was waymarked and the other was not. But like they say them's the breaks.

Hmmm,I don't remember it going through peer review, I'm sure I would have voted for it. The Live Stage Theaters is pretty much indoor theaters. Corrrect me if I'm wrong. I am surprised TPTB would deny it.I think it would be a great category. Hopefully it'll make it this time.

ambrosia: team farkle 7: As strange as it may seem, ''Why would anybody pay for membership and not play?'', from what I've heard sometimes a participant gets a couple of caching friends to join their group for the sake of having 3 members. They're like silent partners so in a way the group winds up being run by the one person.
Well, in a way, ...
