I hope Groundspeak will do something in this case.
Actually I mean Groundspeak ought to do something - if they want people to
continue putting pictures on their site. Make an example. This is not a free
database.

I know I can download a plugin, so I personally on my own computer can view
Waymarks in Google Earth. Two questions about this:
1. For me living in Denmark, there are a problem with our special letters:
, and . They are simply missing when viewing the waymark in Google
Earth. Not good or nice if the name need one of those letters. Is it ...

Just a question: In Geocaching I have newer ever got a
Geocache spammed (or my personal account) - Why in Waymarking? Is it because
Waymarking is more in the frontline? I mean a Geocache often have a name totally
out of space, ex ''Nice View'' and no text indicating the spot - but in Waymaking
we call the spot by it's own ...

I would prefer the date to be the date I was on the
spot, taking the photos, taking the cords etc..
I mean: Make the date possible to change to what
you want.

I have the same problem - see http://www.waymarking.com/waymarks/WM4GHG.
I have found that it is because
of target=''_blank''> in the end of the link. This remove the sign < in
the beginning of the link (you can see it's missing, and I can assure you, that
it has been there). And then the link is ...

WOW, this is
really something usefull - now all pictures on a waymark can easily be seen - in
a beautiful way. Thaks a lot! :-)
Tip: Install it - click one time on the
waymark-page (on a white area) - and then click on the default picture - all
pictures can now be shown in Piclens.

How do one get a US map on the profiles? I have
done som visit in New York, but I haven't got the map. I think its because I'm
not from the states. But can I have it anyway? Due to my visits in New
York?

How do you solve the problem about crab in
Geocaching? Personally I would love the same possibility about ignoring a
category in Geocaching, but I can't - because Geocaching is not devided in
categories. If I want to ignore geocaches, I have to do it one by
one.

I just love reviewing waymarks. See a lot of beaches all over the world.
Watch them over in Google Earth. Watch them over looking at links in the
description. Sad that I can't visit them all by myself. And today I got this
back after reviewing a waymark:
''Thanks for being a waymark reviwer. Appreciate your time!''
Great to be valued. ...

Please include also ''Bunker''. We have a lot of bunkers
in Denmark - some above the ground, some below. We don't use the word
''Blockhouse'' - they are all called Bunkers. And as far as I know none of them
are marked with a blue plaque. We don't use that.

Point taken, I have just found and read two former proposal for categories
about roundabouts.

Sorry, I didn't notice this before my proposal.

In Denmark we have a lot of roundabouts. And I don't just think of a simple roundabout, but roundabouts with a kind of art in the middle.
See ex these 11 roundabouts from a town 30km from where I live (english text): 11
stars of Skive
I would like to make a category for roundabouts with arts in the middle. If it's not included in other

I have just read the tread, and I found
this sentence from ''tozainamboku Dec 19 2007, 09:29 PM'':
Geocaching v2 will be a waymarking category -
locations where a geocache is hidden. Geocachers will hide a cache and then
record this information as waymark in the Geocache waymarking category.

Danish Television sent two different versions of the program - on two
different days. One short (10 min.) as an appetizer and one long (30 minutes). In the short version you don't see me working on my computer - doing the first step making a

If you absolutely don't have anything else to do - why don't watch
Danish television?! For the first time in World history Waymarking has been on the screen in
Denmark or even mentioned in a Danish media! The programme was sent wednesday
february 13 and a shorter version the day before. I know you don't understand Danish, but the pictures can be

Count me in for gpx-files.
Concerning viewing logs:
I read logs in geocaching not only to get hints (if
I can't find the cache), I read them because others often ad
interesting info to the description.

- Perhaps they ad interesting info about the ...
