Here's the link to the category http://www.waymarking.com/cat/details.aspx?f=1&guid=79d7709f-293a-4189-abdf-f686d3b81b67
Here's the keywords I have, and no, they don't work for me either:
error mistake whoops oops flaw goof fail engineering problem
I do hope this is just some kind of caching problem on the Groundspeak servers. I ...

And ..... we're back!
Looks like Groundspeak found whatever the error was and have corrected it!

Yep, the link doesn't work, it doesn't show up in category search and the page is broken for several of the officers (not just me). The Category DOES appear under ''My Categories'' and on the group details page for the officers. Then throws the error message I quoted if I try to follow that link.
I've notified Groundspeak and they're looking at ...

Well, it seems the waymarking Gods are not without irony.....
Human Error passed Peer Review, and, after making a few adjustments to the category description from some of the constructive peer votes (I *always* read them!)... I hit that ''Activate'' button.
Guess what comes up now when I try to view the category .....
Your request has resulted ...

Yup, I like this category proposal as well. Anyone remember the TV show?

I've created a group to develop a category for UNESCO World Biosphere Reserves. There are 519 such places around the world, and I'm really surprised this doesn't fall under another category (if it does, let me know). The group is here, and I'd love to see some feedback on this particular category idea. Will probably model it similar to the World ...

I have to agree the Winchester Mystery House is not in the spirit of the category. When you spot the error, the first word that comes to mind should be ''Whoops!''. The NASA Mars mission could be waymarked at the launch site (Presumably Cape Canaveral but I'm not sure). Good opportunity to stack waymarks there though

I like what I'm reading here so far. Particularly like that UBC link from Redneck Parrotheads. I do not want to include what I'll call personal errors like a car accident or some temporary thing like that. Need to figure out a good way to phrase that for the category description.Next question -- do we want to waymark current errors (easiest to ...

Congrats on passing peer review. I'm really looking forward to taking a quiet afternoon, blowing the dust off my charcoal sketchbook and heading out for a couple hours . This is a really good idea, and as far as I'm concerned it is very much in the spirit of waymarking as it should be - a fun, location based game - not a race to index the world!

I was wondering the same thing. I've seen quite a few of the electric palm trees around these parts.

I'm a huge fan of the ''Fail'' blog that shows off photos of things that didn't go so well. Ever seen a staircase that ends at a wall? What about a door with the steps that lead up to it 10 feet away? So, I'm thinking of a category that will entail finding something that could only be described as a ''Human Error'' and waymarking it. Naturally, ...

One concern I have about the name ''Friday Night Lights'' is you're likely to get people confusing that with Scenic at Night which is not related to sports. I agree the name of the category should be clearly what it is about, while the group name can be something clever. The category's posting guidelines should , whenever possible, list ALL the ...

Redneck Parrotheads:Do I have to repeat that silly tirade about taking down all my cemetery categories to prevent people from buying headstones to make up waymarks? I haven't posted a homemade headstone, yet. I could go get some wood and nail one together, place it any ol' place, put a random name on it and claim it's a homemade headstone. What ...

One way to word this, is rather than exclude Salt Water boardwalks - exclude ''Coastal or Beach'' Boardwalks. Remember, we have boardwalks along the beaches of the Great Lakes - I'm pretty sure you don't want downtown Toronto or Chicago listed here but that mini-ocean there is all fresh water (ok ok 30% fresh water and 70% pollutants )

Hmmmmm. Reminds me of a Locationless Geocache. Just require waymark visitors to get a speeding ticket and post it, now we've got the visit requirement handled.Posting an active radar officer is the only way that I can think of to prevent abuse of the cat (people posting any old location). Of course, these people would need to wait until after they ...

Redneck Parrotheads:
I'm not sure how we'll manage disproving waymarks so we can decline them. I know it's common practice now to establish a ''do not want'' list, but I think this is more about residents knowing their area and sharing local information globally. I'm not a fan of fictionalised waymarks but I'd have to believe that local peer ...

Johnny_Quest:I hope this catagory would include red light cameras intersections.Speed Cameras would be the wrong name if it included other means of (Automated) Traffic Enforcement, like Red Light Cameras. It would be better named ''Traffic Enforcement'' or such. Now, I do have to ask the question --- this is covered quite nicely by POIFriends and ...

The only concern I have with ''Drive Up Kiosks'' for Coffee, is that, frankly every drive-thru kiosk only location for several hundred kilometers around here seem to be.... Tim Horton's. You don't necessarily want to get 400 cross postings from there - that will drown out the uniqueness of the category in my eyes. What if the Drive Up Kiosk has a ...

I would certainly support a ''regional coffee chains'' initiative..... I know of a few around these parts that haven't been bulldozed by Tim Horton's/Starbucks yet.

bootron:It's true that we now save your original image, but still it is necessary for us to compress the image so that we can save bandwidth. So to set the record straight, all images are resized and compressed when displayed on the website in the various places. But if you click through any image, you can ultimately see the original if ...

When I posted this, the last paragraph got chopped off:What I would like to know is, if there is an ''optimal'' size / dpi setting that I can upload to the site using, which will prevent the auto resizing algoritms from kicking in and really making my photos look horrible!

Lately, I'm having a hell of a time uploading a quality image for the Waymarking site. My ''normal'' image settings exporting from Lightroom isMax dimensions 640x640, 72dpi, JPEG, Sharpen for Screen. This produces a very acceptable image that I then upload to my waymark. Upon arriving at waymarking.com the image sometimes develops horrible JPEG ...

BruceS:It would be good category if digital cameras were not considered ''electronic equipment'' and thus can't be operated below 10,000 feet on commercial planes. Taking photos from 2 miles away would restrict the category to only the largest landmarks. I often wish I could take photos when I am flying as I am on 2-4 ...

I'd have to agree with globetrotters.us . I live in Ontario and frankly I hope I'm not the culprit. I know we have a few ''friendly rivalries'' going on around my neck of the woods -- there's a few of us with overlapping 'turf' where I live. Sometimes it's fun to see what you missed in your own back yard. I missed getting one waymark to another ...
