The idea about blazon is great, we will try to introduce it in the category listing - probably as optional field, hoping that waymarkers will try to find some details about the origin and meaning of the coat of arm...

Dear colleagues waymarkers, we are working on listing of new category which is devoted to ''Coat of Arms''. Our idea is to pursue you to find all interesting static manifestations of heraldry connected with aristocratic families (noble family coat of arms), burgher arms (used by famous commoners), church and knight orders, towns and (maybe) ...

Thanks to all peer-reviewers for in majority positive raactions and approving of the new category... We are looking forward for interesting submissions into category - so check your photoarchives :)

Several months after the first fruitless attempt in creation of this category we are sending a newly designed Renaissance architecture for approval... The listing was rewritten, all limitations in the structure (building) type were removed and some examples added... We are hoping that it will be more acceptable by waymarkers community and also it ...

I returned from holidays and after couple weeks ''without'' internet access I recognised several new categories which are mostly devoted to fastfood chains or some kind of shops. Hmmm... maybe it is interesting (why not...), maybe not (for me not so much) but generally I am not against it if it is interesting for large amount of US-waymarkers. ...

Pedestrian Suspension Bridges category also looks as after ''swine flu'' epidemy :).

I would like to express my thanks to all reviewers who support our efforts for creating of this Architecture category... Most of reviews were positive and we are very glad for them. Some colleagues were again disappointed by the limitation given by the year of origin. But it is the sense of the ''baroque architecture'' category - we want to show ...

...dear colleagues, we resubmitted The Baroque Architecture category, hoping that the new version will be acceptable for all fans of architectural heritage. There are no exception in type of building and structures built in Baroque and Rococo style.

Finally, both categories were denied - firstly I was disappointed and frustrated, but after while, i recovered from disillusion  I think that some things have to be changed in future (if any...) resubmission of both categories (Baroque and ...

I have absolutely the same problem - during creating a newversion of Baroque architecture I failed in the 3rd step - officers can not vote and I can not change listing and see the final version of category proposal... strange...

It was not so easy for me to exclude churches from Architecture styles (Gothic, Baroque and Rennaissance), but it is not so illogical.
