Living history is an activity that incorporates historical tools, activities and dress into an interactive presentation that seeks to give observers and participants a sense of stepping back in time. Although it does not necessarily seek to reenact a specific event in history, living history is similar to, and sometimes incorporates, historical ...

BruceS: dreamhummie: max and 99:So.... are you suggesting that a separate category would help with a search for just cycling routes in your country? Is that the idea? I can understand that logic, but there are other ways do to this than starting a new category. Can i make a sub category in Cycling Routes then ?Or tell me about the other ways

And we have a personel contact with the ANWB in the Netherlands. If in our category ANWB Paddenstoelen a Mushroom reported as missing or damaged,we contact him about it. The old Mushrooms are white and when they replaces them they are now red and white. So we can use that for the ANWB Knooppunten as well.John

I'am an Officer in the ANWB Paddenstoelen category for a while and on my Waymarking i spot a lot of ANWB Knooppunten too.I post them now in the category Cycling Routes but i would like to make an category for them self. The reason is that there are so many of them in The Netherlands, i posted 70 yet found in my provence (Drenthe) and i รกm not half ...

Here is a new category idea. We have officers. We have a draft category. Now we need your feedback.Catgeory Posting pageAbbey Road category may be classed as a whimsical idea, for fun. A fellow cacher has an art project about all Abbey Roads. Do not be alarmed by site filters saying below is a malicious site. Its what Bryan is linked ...

This probably WILL be more challenging than the Eagle Projects - but I know they must be out there - there ARE girls who like to ''build things'' - not just hold events... Our Council told me ''we don't keep records like that'' -- ????? really? somewhere there must be records of some kind - the hunt is on!

If it is a Girl Scout Gold Award Project - it can be inside or outside - but public accessible would be more desirable If no Troop number - then the Service Unit - or at the very least the Council the Girl is/was a part of should be included - I don't think it it ''required'' for the Eagle category (???)last name... ?? ...

We are hoping to add a new Category showcasing Girl Scout Gold Award projects - much like the Eagle Scout category - Gold is the highest award Girl Scouts can earn.please provide us with feed back. tissa1020 & Foxhound

G'day all,
I am looking for officers to join me in the category. While it is a somewhat limited category (currently there are only 21 World Peace Bells world wide) I feel it has significant merit.

While the link opens by default in Japanese, there is and English link at the top of the page.
This is the link to the ...

Hi... I'm brand new on Waymark..... but noticed that there is no category for any Labor Union offices or Halls. It seems that this would be a popular category with people around the world being able to participate.
So, if anyone would like to help me create that new category...please walk me through it.
or if someone wants to create the category ...

hi looking to see if category already exists for older style signs with the old style neon, not current signs, or unusual signs. we have a store intown that
when it was built they put the sign up ''upside down'' and the owner decided to leave it that way to be different. the type of signs that i am looking for would probably be from the ...

At various times we have kicked around the concept of a category to try to cover all those historical markers that fall through the cracks of the other categories. My first attempt was to create such a category for just Wisconsin, but that one was vetoed by the powers that be.What I am attempting is to create a worldwide category for ...

My wife and I have kicked this idea around a lot and I've finally started a group to manage a ''Kids Eat Free'' Category. If you've read my posts before, you will know that I'm not fond of commercial categories, but this one has always appealed to me and I've decided to finally get the ball rolling. What I'm thinking is waymarking restaurants ...

I really like this invasive tree photograph that looks like one of those large leeches creeping up on you or an octopus spreading his tentacles.!

cldisme:I would argue against the category based on they are too prevalent (one marker every two miles) and the danger factor of roadside waymarking (which never a good idea in my book). You know... all of you are right. -- Who wants to read and post another sign anyway, like those other plaques along a road or in a park or ...

I don't see anything comparable to this idea, but feel free to correct
me. I've been using Self Guided Nature Trails for a handful of Wherigo
ideas (e.g.
Nunatak
and
South
Plateau Trail Guide), and thought that they may be deserving of
their own Category.Other nearby examples would be:Monterey Path of HistoryJapantown, San ...

The new Solar System Model category is up for peer review. Please take the time to review it and vote. For those of you following the previous thread here in the forum, we have decided to allow all stations of the model to be waymarked if the farthest station from the sun is more than 1 kilometer from the sun (although this is a guideline ...
