I have my group and catagory. What is the next step and where do I find the information or form to fill out and submit?

Hi... I'm brand new on Waymark..... but noticed that there is no category for any Labor Union offices or Halls. It seems that this would be a popular category with people around the world being able to participate.
So, if anyone would like to help me create that new category...please walk me through it.
or if someone wants to create the category ...

Hey B.Q. What do the Highway 400 Series 18 Service Stops qualify as? With their gas pumps & repair garages, McDucks, Timmies, Restrooms(misnomer), Picnic Areas and yes Truck Stops?. -----> 5 Waymarks in one place

hi looking to see if category already exists for older style signs with the old style neon, not current signs, or unusual signs. we have a store intown that
when it was built they put the sign up ''upside down'' and the owner decided to leave it that way to be different. the type of signs that i am looking for would probably be from the ...

At various times we have kicked around the concept of a category to try to cover all those historical markers that fall through the cracks of the other categories. My first attempt was to create such a category for just Wisconsin, but that one was vetoed by the powers that be.What I am attempting is to create a worldwide category for ...

My wife and I have kicked this idea around a lot and I've finally started a group to manage a ''Kids Eat Free'' Category. If you've read my posts before, you will know that I'm not fond of commercial categories, but this one has always appealed to me and I've decided to finally get the ball rolling. What I'm thinking is waymarking restaurants ...

I really like this invasive tree photograph that looks like one of those large leeches creeping up on you or an octopus spreading his tentacles.!
-
cldisme:I would argue against the category based on they are too prevalent (one marker every two miles) and the danger factor of roadside waymarking (which never a good idea in my book). You know... all of you are right. -- Who wants to read and post another sign anyway, like those other plaques along a road or in a park or ...

I don't see anything comparable to this idea, but feel free to correct
me. I've been using Self Guided Nature Trails for a handful of Wherigo
ideas (e.g.
Nunatak
and
South
Plateau Trail Guide), and thought that they may be deserving of
their own Category.Other nearby examples would be:Monterey Path of HistoryJapantown, San ...

The new Solar System Model category is up for peer review. Please take the time to review it and vote. For those of you following the previous thread here in the forum, we have decided to allow all stations of the model to be waymarked if the farthest station from the sun is more than 1 kilometer from the sun (although this is a guideline ...

I have created a new waymarking category called ''Solar System Models''.Please check it out hereLet me know what you think!
-
I came across what I thought was a very cool thing in Escanaba, MI. They had signs along the main drag through town with information on the solar system. Each sign was positioned to-scale based on how far apart the planets' orbits are from each other. The kicker for me was the sign a mile down the road for the Voyager spacecraft ...

Hmmm, I haven't looked at this thread since my last post here and didn't notice that there might be some interest in this.I agree that historic trees doesn't necessarily fit inot the excepional trees category as it is currently defined. Is it possible to expand a category to add them?If not, maybe they do deserver their own category.

I am new here and would like to propose a new category. After traveling around Northwest NC I have found that there is a vast community of silos with a lot of local history. Would this make a good category? Thanks, dee

My group is proposing a new category ''Holy Wells of Great Britain''. This will be of interest to the growing band of waymarks in the UK. This category will include Christain, Celtic or even Pagen wells as long as they have a checkable history. There are wells of this type in most counties of Britain.with a large number in the south west of the ...

There is a category for active firehouses, but I'd like to see one for inactive firehouses that have been converted to other uses like private homes, restaurants, stores, etc... . There was a ''locationless cache'' for this category and it was quite popular. What does everyone think?

The old-fashioned British red telephone box (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_telephone_box ) is as famour a symbol of the United Kingdom as the classic London taxi or Big Ben. Most of them were taken out of service in the 1980s, and a surprising number have since popped up in various unique locations in the world.
I think it would be ...

There was a thread about the fact that visits posted are not quite up to the number of waymarks posted.
Here is my proposal to promote visting waymarks and categories. I'm looking for input, especially from the group who manages ''Lucky 7''. I tried to look in past entries for something similar but didn't find anything.
For now, I'll ...

Being that there are several of them in the Disneyland ''area'', and also since we frequent one in particular (between Brookhurst & Gilbert on Chapman Ave. in Garden Grove, CA), I am proposing that they are worthy of yet another Category...anyone interested???

I love Friendly's. My sister and I used to work at one. Back then we started doing something similar to this and we went to as many Friendly's as we could in our area. I would love to be able to do that and incorperate it here (if only past visits counted... oh well).
I think it would also be nice in this case to also include buildings ...
